Evidently God: A Look at Evolution and Creation.Led by Pastor Josh.Pastor Josh will take the kids and teens through evidence that both creationists and evolutionists use to back up their point of view and how that evidence is to be viewed in light of God’s perfect, unchanging Word.
For the adults…
Discover the Word! Led by John Jones.Psalm 119:18 says, “Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.” In this class we’ll go treasure hunting as we learn effective ways to study the Bible. We will examine and explore the various literary styles of biblical writing and apply basic interpretation principles that will spur spiritual growth as well as academic enlightenment.
And depending upon the interest level and attendance, we’ll be offering a second option for adults…
Trust the Word!Led by Pastor Andy. This study will be based on a DVD entitled “Why We Believe the Bible” featuring the teaching of Dr. John Piper. The emphasis in this study is the authority and trustworthiness of the Bible. In an age where truth is regularly called into question and where we are constantly bombarded with competing claims to authority, we must wrestle with this simple question: can we trust the Bible?
